We DO NOT allow ‘Stag and Hen’ parties and equally are not a place for groups looking to party heavily. We are very much about providing an environment for guests to have fun, privacy, relaxation and a great time. If you are planning a raucous event, we are probably not the place for you as we are very considerate towards our neighbours and other guests.

We adhere to a strict cleaning protocol which takes added time to ensure the Cottages are ready for our next guests. If we can get you checked in earlier we will of course let you know.

Yes we do and can share these with you via email at time of booking. We categorise these into place we eat and are excellent, places we go and can be a little hit and miss as well as places that are great for Vegan and Vegetarian. We try wherever possible to promote local independent establishments. We are always interested in your finds, whilst staying with us.

Yes we do have a good selection of walks we can recommend depending on what you would like again we can send these at time of booking.

“We never had a dog that smoked in bed and set fire to the sheets. We never had a dog that stole our towels, played music too loud or had a noisy fight with a travelling companion or other guest. We never had a dog that got drunk, became abusive and smashed our glasses….So if your dog can vouch for you, you’re very welcome too”.

Seriously though, we are very much dog lovers thats why we don’t charge an extra fee for upto,  two well behaved friendly dogs. The only thing we ask is you read our rules on bringing your pet, e.g. you never leave them alone in the cottage, pick up after them or allow them on the bed or furniture.

In Jenson cottage the main bedroom is a King the second bedroom you have the option of up to 3 singles or King size.

In Morgan cottage the main bedroom is Super King, the second bedroom you have same options of up to 3 singles or King size.

In the Summer House this has the facility of a King size Sofa bed and 3 singles or another King size bed and single.

Wherever possible we promote/use local suppliers and produce and promote the ‘SLOW’ movement.

Within reason we can source most things. We offer a service from our Local Butcher Carl and our Local Milk Lady Christine we can get such as local sausages bacon Milk free range eggs butter etc. We can email you an extended list to personalise your stay and have these delivered so they are here for when you arrive.

 

We are more than happy to hire in high chairs and travel cots for a small charge. We only use products that are recommended by parents on Mumsnet.

The cottages do not have microwaves, however if this causes a problem we are happy to hire one in for the duration of your stay for a small fee.

We will send you an email the day before you arrive with detailed directions along with how to access your cottage. Due to the cottages sitting behind the Country House, we usually greet and wave goodbye to all guests.

That’s not a problem we can arrange that for you, you can pay as you leave by either Card, BACS transfer or Cash.

Yes we offer celebration packages which range from Bronze to Platinum or we can offer a more bespoke experience, please drop us a line to discuss. We do not allow guests to bring their own decorations due to damage caused previously to furniture and decor as well as additional cleaning.

Checkin time is 3pm, if we can get you in earlier we will let you know, but due to enhanced cleaning protocol and final inspection and sanitisation it may not be possible to get in before 3pm. Checkout is 10 am.

Yes we do have a charging point on the side of our main garage, you will just need to bring your own lead.

Whilst we provide all luxury linen and inside towels we don’t provide towels for the Hot Tub, we ask guests to bring their own. Alternatively we can arrange for you to hire robes/ Luxury large towels and flip flops.
